How We Built nexvar.io with AI-First Development

At NexVar, we don't just talk about AI-first development — we practice it every day. When it came time to build our own studio website, we decided to use the same methodology we apply to client projects.

The Stack

We chose Next.js 16 with the App Router for its excellent developer experience, static export capabilities, and edge-ready architecture. Paired with Tailwind CSS v4 and React 19, we had a modern foundation that let us move fast.

AI at Every Step

From initial wireframes to final deployment, AI was embedded in our workflow:

  • Design exploration: We used AI to rapidly prototype different visual directions
  • Code generation: Claude helped us scaffold components, write utilities, and handle boilerplate
  • Content creation: Even this blog post was drafted with AI assistance
  • Testing: AI-assisted test writing ensured quality without slowing us down

The Result

What would normally take weeks was accomplished in days. Not because we cut corners, but because AI eliminated the tedious parts and let us focus on what matters: building something that resonates with our audience.

The site you're reading this on is proof that AI-first development works — and it's just the beginning.
